The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Tuesday called for greater unity in the country as it marks the 64th anniversary of independence.
The president of the association, Archbishop Daniel, made this appeal in a message to Nigerians.
Mr. Okoh emphasized the strength of the country’s diversity and appealed to the people to coexist peacefully. He stressed that the country’s national development agenda “must remain focused on infrastructure development, economic growth and youth empowerment.”
He said such efforts are critical to the progress of the Christian community and the nation as a whole.
“By investing in infrastructure and empowering young people, we are paving the way to sustainable growth and a brighter future for all,” he said.
