The Foursquare Gospel Church of Nigeria, through its General Overseer, Pastor (Dr.) Sam Aboyeji, has called on all levels of government and other stakeholders to partner with the church for the development of the country.
The General Overseer, in a press release to coincide with Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day on Tuesday, spoke of Foursquare Gospel Church’s efforts to partner with stakeholders towards nation building.
Mr. Aboyeji emphasized the importance of civil government, stating that civil government is one of the church’s tenets of faith. He also advocated responsible citizenship as a Nigerian citizen and active participation in nation-building.
“Historically, Christianity has played an important role in shaping society and continues to influence nation-building efforts by promoting unity and moral integrity. One of the 22 tenets of our faith that we teach and are committed to is civil government.As responsible citizens of this great nation of Nigeria, we at all levels of government and other patriotic relationships work together to build our beloved country. “I think there is an obligation and an obligation to cooperate with the people,” he said.
Mr. Aboyeji was speaking at the church’s 11th annual public lecture scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 62/66 Akinwunmi Street, Aragomeji, Yaba, Lagos, where the public lecture was held by tribes, people and people. He explained that it is open to all members of the public, regardless of species or religion. or political affiliations form part of the activities ahead of the church’s 69th annual conference.
He went on to reveal that the speaker would be the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebunji, and the guest lecturer, Mr. Ibuku Awosika, Founder and Chief Executive of Chair Center, would elaborate on the subject. Then he added. “Leadership in Nigeria and its impact on the next generation”
“I would like to take the opportunity of this press conference to invite the public to attend the 69th Annual National Conference of the Foursquare Gospel Church of Nigeria, scheduled to be held from Monday, November 11th to Sunday, November 17th by the grace of God. We would like to specially invite people” 2024 at Foursquare Campsite, 75km Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ajebo, Ogun State. The theme of this year’s event is “GOD OF Wonders,” taken from Job 9:10 and Joshua 3:5. The guest pastors who will proclaim the wonders of God’s counsel at the conference are Pastor Felix Omobude, General Overseer of Gospel Light International Ministries and Immediate Past National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and Pastor Jerry Eze. He is the lead pastor of Streams of Joy International and convener of New Season Prophetic Prayer and Declaration (NSPPD). This year’s conference promises to be a time of refreshment, resurrection, restoration, and renewal, as the God of numberless wonders makes a grand appearance among us. ” he added.
