Osagie observed that mythomania is a psychological condition characterized by compulsive and pathological lying.

Mr Osagie said the most unfortunate aspect of Mr Oshiomhole’s tendency to lie was his apparent inability to recall falsehoods he had previously uttered. Because of this, he ends up making statements that greatly contradict his previous claims.
He noted that if this condition happened to a young man, you would expect him to start modifying his behavior as he grows up, but for Oshiomhole it is a lost cause.
