Nollywood actor, Ayobami Olabiyi popularly known as Bobo B has reportedly passed away.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reported that the veteran passed away in Ibadan, Oyo State after battling deteriorating health.
Governor Bose Akinola of the Nigerian Theater Arts and Films Association (Tampan) announced the sad news on Wednesday.
Mr. Olabiyi, a former governor of Tampan, Oyo State and currently serving as the national secretary, has passed away after a brief illness.
The deceased was scheduled to appear in a movie set in Oyo last month, but passed away shortly after being admitted to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State.
Akintola’s statement said: “I have been directed by the Oyo State Tampan Governor, His Excellency, Yeye Bose Akinola, to announce the death of our Tampan National Secretary, Alhaji Musadosile Ayobami Olabiyi Bobo B. God bless his family and Tampan May You give us whole.” Members around the world have the fortitude to bear loss. InshaAllah, amen. ”
Another colleague, Abidemi Temitayo, while paying his condolences, said: “I vividly remember what happened the night I took the second slide with you after shooting… We were both on the set when the director said the lines to us, Say… Y was the best.” So the director asked me to do the CR, and I said it wasn’t necessary, but the director was like, “Do you want to do it?” Then Bobo B said, “Bidemi is confident in himself, he’s an Omode actor now, we all laughed and made a movie, there’s no more than two tapes, then we took a photo of the three of us, and then… I also took my staff with me.” Before I leave, I’m so shocked that that cheerful guy stopped asking about your de*ss today.
“Alhaji Mudashiru Ayobami Olabiyi. This is very sad. Rest in peace Bobo B… You will be missed not only by the industry but also by the world at large.”
