American rapper Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., also known as DDG, has announced his breakup with American singer and actress Halle Bailey.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the two, who started dating in January 2022, became parents to son Halo at the end of 2023.
On Thursday night, DDG explained in an Instagram Story that the split was mutually agreed upon.
“Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the post read.
DDG further emphasized that although they are no longer a couple, their bond remains strong and their priorities are co-parenting and continuing to support each other in their personal pursuits.
“While there have been changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and respect each other,” he shared, “I’m going to focus on my personal journey and my role as co-parents,” he added.
“We cherish the bonds we have built and the beautiful moments we have shared. We ask for your understanding and support as we navigate this transition. Thank you for your love and encouragement.”
