Having archived all of his Instagram posts and cleared the feed as a way to set the tone for his new album, Burna Boy has released a new single, “Update” from his upcoming eighth album, “No Sign of Seadin.” It’s been released.

Produced by P2J, “Update” features an arrangement of African folk drums, showing off the Barnaboy’s signature style while asserting his superstar status. The accompanying music video directed by Uax performs Burna Kuti-inspired dance moves, complementing the stream and reflecting the style of the Afrobeat icon.

“Update” follows the previously released single “Higher,” followed by “Bundle by Bundle,” which was released in December 2024, with a Grammy nomination for Best African Song Performance.
