Veteran actor Segun Arinze has revealed that it was a voluntary choice to rectify his decision to step away from the music industry and focus on his acting career.
On a recent episode of “Curiosity Made Me Ask” with Bae U Barbie, Arinze clarified that she didn’t give up music because of failure, but to focus on her acting career. The actor, who studied theater arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, explained that he deliberately chose to explore acting after trying his hand at music. ”
I am not a failure as a music artist. I quit music of my own free will. If I wanted to do music, I would have continued,” Arinze stressed.
Interestingly, Arinze hinted at a possible return to the music industry, but not for commercial gain. He said he returned to music simply because he wanted to sing, not because he wanted to make money. ”
You can always go back to music. I didn’t fail. I have two albums. (My music activities) have been suspended. I’ll go back when I feel the time is right. I still sing. The voice is still there,” Arinze revealed.
Fans may see Segun Arinze return to the music scene in the future, but for now he remains focused on his acting career.
