Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ondo State Chapter, has expressed concern over Governor Lucky Aidatiwa’s silence over alleged budget padding in 2025.
The party noted that the 2025 budget includes some scandalous items in the Treasury Secretary’s Office.
Speaking through a statement by propaganda secretary Kennedy Peretei, the party argued that the people of the nation deserved an explanation for the 11.5 billion people allocated to the Treasury as security votes.
They argue that “250 million people are 250 million as “Treasury Reward and Sitting Allowance,” and that procuring 230 million worth of SUVs for the finance committee is insensitive. I did.
Peretei then called for the development of the Treasury Secretary’s bag, emphasizing that the funds belong to the people of Ondo Province.
He states:
“The lucky aiyedatiwa government maintains such deafening silence and accomplice, shaking its tongues, if there is more to come into contact with it.
“The N11.5B security vote at the Treasury, which was acquired in the approved budget for 2025, has not been explained to the people of the state despite public protests.
“The N250m offering as an honor for the N250m and the Treasury sitting allowance are another padded item on the budget for the commissioner’s enjoyment and joy.
“Arguably the most insensitive is the procurement of one Toyota Prado SUV Jeep for the Honorable Commissioner for Finance at N230m Prince Value.
“In light of the approved budget allocations mentioned above, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Ondo State branch, and Mrs. Isaac Omounmi, Treasury Secretary of Ondo State must be fired immediately for criminally abused her office. I think she doesn’t. Her claim that she is a British trained accountant will be flat on her back if all she can do is run away from the people’s Treasury. Our Treasury’s It is assumed to be a gatekeeper.
“If Lucky Governor Aiyedatiwa fails to appoint the people of Sunshine State and advocate for duties, steps will be taken to prove that it is people’s funding.”
