(WO) – Shelf Drilling has won a new contract for two jack-up rigs offshore Nigeria, paving the way for a fully executed three-year contract for the Achiever jack-up rig and expanding its operations in West Africa. Expand. region.
Operations are scheduled to begin in October 2024, and the contract includes an option for up to two years at a mutually agreed price. Additionally, Shelf Drilling has secured a two-year extension from February 2025 for the Adriatic I jackup rig, with an option for an additional year, in direct continuation of the rig’s current contract in Nigeria. The total contract value for the two rigs over an additional five-year contract period is $234 million, excluding mobilization and demobilization revenues.
