However, Tomihara noted that the government is fulfilling its obligations and will continue to prioritize the interests of the people.
The governor said he would continue to protect Rivers State from “those who daily plot to cause chaos and widespread discontent” among the people.
“Some people who have decided to be enemies of this state have tried to make us experience a dark Christmas,” he said.
“However, we were able to fulfill our obligations as a government, although it was not easy, because we were determined to put the interests of Rivers State first.
“And today, despite all the propaganda that state quotas are falling under one bridge, I can boldly say that our civil servants are happy.
“But we are now the first state not only to have made a promise, but to have kept that promise.Currently, civil servants who used to collect 70,000 naira are jubilant as they have collected 120,000, 140,000 naira. are.
“What is the greatest joy that a government can achieve? We may do some projects, but the most important thing is to leave happiness in people’s hearts.”
