PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) in ONDO explains the recently signed state budget as a looted budget.
Naija News reports that Governor Lucky Aidachiwa signed a budget of 698.6 billion a week after the passage of the state parliament.
These include 200 million members and 280 million of the ONDO State House of Assembly House of Assembl Speaker for “telephone expenses.”
However, the opposition argued that the distribution was tremendously unnecessary through a statement by Kennedy Peretei, a secretary of advertising on Tuesday.
Pere Teii said, “The Budget for Ondo 2025, signed by Governor Lucky Aidatiwa, is an appropriate budget for looting. However, the governor has branded it as a “recovery budget”.
The PDP also query 11.5 billion assignments to the Ministry of Finance under the sub -head of security voting, stating that such amounts are unjust and cause serious concerns about the accountability.
“Even a budget expert cannot explain the theoretical grounds of ministries and agencies who received” security voting “. This is different from what the governor himself collects every month under the same sub -head. “
PDP further demanded that the Economic and Financial Criminal Committee would investigate what is embedded in a budget.
However, the ONDO State Chapter of All Programs Congresses has been dismissed as a misconduct of the fact that PDP claims are unfounded.
In a statement by Steve Otarolo, a media and advertising director, APC argued that the budget was designed to promote the state economic growth and development.
“The assignment is consistent with the priority of the state development. The PDP’s claim is only a attempt to trust the government from bitterness,” said Otarolo.
