TikTok sensation, Odesanmi Opeyemi popularly known as Oroba Saro has been hospitalized after being shot by unknown gunmen in Lekki area of Lagos state.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reported that the live streamer was robbed and shot in the leg.
In a video released after the attack, a witness can be heard saying: “This is Salo’s car, you can see for yourself.” I think that’s a joke. This is his blood here. ”
The video shows two shell casings and blood stains in the driver’s seat of the content creator’s car.
Another witness claimed that an unidentified person approached Salo's car posing as a beggar and fired shots as Salo rolled down his window.
Salo’s brother also shared a video from the hospital showing the TikTok celebrity undergoing treatment.
Lagos Police Spokesperson Benjamin Fundein confirmed the incident and said Saro was receiving medical treatment. He added that police have launched an investigation into the matter.
“We can confirm that an incident occurred. He has received medical attention and the investigation is ongoing.”
Salo is popular for his controversial comments on social media.
