The Progressive Congress of all awards (APC) have rescheduled the much-anticipated National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, which was postponed last year.
Naija News has gathered that key sessions will be held next Tuesday and Wednesday.
The meeting was originally scheduled for September 11th and 12th, 2024 in Abuja, so the meeting was abruptly cancelled without official explanation.
However, according to Punch, the leaked memo from the APC Secretariat confirmed the new date of the rally.
A memo signed by APC Secretary of State Ajibola Basiru states that the National Caucus Conference will be held at the President’s Villa Banquet Hall on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025. Wednesday, February 26th, 2025.
“A notable colleague will kindly distribute the following to all party stakeholders in the state that they are scheduled to be held by 6pm at the President’s Villa Ballroom on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025. .
“The National Executive Committee is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at the party’s national office. Please, I’ve read the memo.
The meeting, which is considered essential to the party’s strategic direction, is expected to be chaired by President Bora Tinubu, with former President Kasim Shettima and former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Also expected is the party’s national chairman, Abdurahi Gandhuye. Senate President, God Will Akpabio, APC Governor. A former speaker and minister of the party’s House of Representatives. Party Chairman; National Labor Commission and other stakeholders.
