Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima has called on Ondo people to vote for the re-election of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Kashim Shettima has told voters in Ondo that President Bola Tinubu supports and supports the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.
The vice president said this on Wednesday at the APC gubernatorial campaign rally of Mr. Ayedatiwa and Vice President Olayde Adelami at the MKO Abiola Democracy Park in Akure, Ondo State.
He asserted that the duo will bring hope, prosperity and unity and ensure that the sun continues to shine brighter in the Sunshine State.
“Governor Ayedatiwa is not just campaigning to maintain his position, he is campaigning to bring hope, prosperity and unity to every corner of Ondo State. I am confident that he can turn these ambitions into reality. I am confident that I am a leader.

Mr. Shettima conveyed the support of President Bola Tinubu, saying the president had his full support for Mr. Ayedatiwa and was confident of the governor’s re-election.
“Today, I wish to extend the goodwill of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who would have liked to be here today, but who is currently attending a summit in Saudi Arabia to present important development and investment opportunities for our country. But he is with us in spirit and fully supports the Aiyedatiwa-Aderami ticket as a harbinger of prosperity for Ondo State,” Shettima said. .
The Vice President stressed that only the APC can provide solutions to economic problems. “Look at the work we have done to strengthen our economy, even if the results may not be immediately visible. Earlier, Ondo State Governor and APC candidate for Saturday’s governorship election, Mr Ayedatiwa, called on the people to vote for APC.
