President Bola Tinubu has declared that his main focus is not on preparing for the 2027 elections but on ensuring a bright future for the next generation of Nigerians.
The assertion was made at the 2024 All Progressives Congress (APC) South West General Assembly held at Victoria Island, Lagos and hosted by the party’s zonal coordinator, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Senate Majority Leader Bamidele Opeyemi emphasized the strategic importance of the South-West APC caucus in the 10th Congress, noting that 15 out of 18 senators from the region are from APC, and that the region is a national legislative leader.
