The All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has advised President Bola Tinubu not to intervene in the Kwankwasiya Movement crisis.
The warning came after a meeting between Tinubu and Kwankwasiya leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The meeting is said to have been initiated by Kwankwaso.
Reacting to the development through a statement, the two-time Rural Development Projects Commissioner maintained that Kwankwaso should not be trusted.
“We are aware that President Tinubu and Kwankwaso met early today, but we have doubts about the meeting as even Kwankwaso is not allowed to be photographed in the presidential palace,” he said. .
“Mr Kwankwaso must have rushed to President Tinubu, alarmed by the fact that his key allies were gradually unsettling him. The president should know not to trust Kwankwaso. .
“The three giants of SSG Bichi, Rilum and Madakin Zini and Senator Kau Sumaila are the ones who ensured the victory of the NNPP/Abba Kabir Yusuf government in 2023 and today they are leaving. That’s why Kwankwaso is so afraid of their actions.
“Mr Kwankwaso is willing to shamelessly go to the president because he knows his position is being lost. That is why we must be careful about what he says to our dear President Tinubu. I am advising you to become.
“Today’s Kwankwasiya crisis in Kano is a fight to the end. We, the APC, do not pity them but congratulate ourselves as this is our clear victory in the 2027 general elections. I need it.”
