Abia State’s People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chairman Abraham Ama said the major opposition parties have not yet met their expectations.
According to Naija News, Amah said that PDP at the national level has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government has failed to take responsibility like the former Information Minister.
In an interview with New Central on Friday, he analyzed the party’s agenda, and the PCP chair of Abia state condemned Deboolognagba, the party’s national spokesman.
The PDP chief admitted that the party is not doing enough. He said the party’s national leaders must sit down and provide alternative policies to government policies.
He said: “Yes, let’s start with the fact that my party, PDP, isn’t doing enough. What they’re doing today can’t compare to what APC led by Lai Mohammed did. And , In the government, it is the opposition spokesmen that drives the opposition. And it is where Debo fails, fails, fails, fails, fails, and again fails. Debo is busy blaming fellow party members. Debo is Busy against the decision of the party’s state executive committee. Debo is not ready to engage in the current federal government. It offers a different perspective.
“Participation members have evaluated impact assessments of all officers at national and at different levels of party structures. Debo, our national propaganda secretary, promotes this opposition narrative. You can tell for free that you are one man who has failed to fully promote the process. He has failed. Today, my party has made a new point regarding the current government policy. Because you don’t provide it, because you’re not just opposed to the government. You provide a different perspective. You provide a different story.”
