The new Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) has confidently declared that by 2027 it will become Nigeria’s ruling party. Its leader, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is set to appear as the country’s next president.
At the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Thursday, NNPP National Chairman Dr. Ajuki Ahmad expressed optimism about the party’s future despite internal challenges.
Recognizing the crisis within the party, Ahmad dismissed the concerns and emphasized that the NNPP remained stable and united at all levels.
“Of course, our party has witnessed only a first minute, but it’s not an unruly challenge. Unlike other political parties who question our colleagues, whose challenges are the very existence of them. Our challenges can be ignored in the sense that those who have chosen to escape from us will continue to throw pebbles into our windows. They are moral, political, and law that hurts us. “It lacks grounds,” he said.
He further urged party leaders at all levels of national, state, local government and districts to remain determined in the face of opposition.
NNPP simultaneously dismisses leadership claims
He explained that their actions are insignificant by dealing with reports from factions claiming to establish parallel leadership in Apapa, Lagos and Ahmad.
“Therefore, I will ignore the recent tanks that claim to establish parallel leadership in Apapa, Lagos, and to face and please face these challenges, all levels, countries, and Calls for leadership at the state, local government and ward level. The suspicious paper they have swayed like weapons of mass destruction is nothing more than what it is, paper. We quickly tore that paper. It would be,” he insisted.
Vision for 2027: The NNPP’s Road to Power
Ahmad called for unity within the party and emphasized the need for collective efforts to achieve its goal of taking over leadership in 2027.
“Let’s stand together as a party, move together as a party, act together as a united whole.
“That’s the fate of becoming the ruling party coming in 2027. It will definitely be a tough journey. But if it’s not tough, the journey is worthless and not worth working on. We are NNPP.
“We embody the hope and future of young people, poised to unlock Nigeria from its present state and build a country that we all are proud of,” he concluded.
