This week’s Billboard New Music Latin roundup and playlist (handpicked by Billboard Latin editors and Billboard Spanish editors) includes Sec, Latin Mafia, Alejandro Sanz, Jafrica y Su – Featuring fresh music by artists such as Esencia.

Panamanian singer-songwriter Sech has released “Toy Perdio,” which is said to be his comeback song. This is his debut single from Rimas Entertainment and the first single from his upcoming album, “Tranki, Todo Pasa”, which will be released on November 29th. Sech described this new era in his career as having “new energy and a clearer vision.”

Meanwhile, the trio Jafrica y Su Esencia opens Día de Muertos with a poignant and moving song titled “Y Qué Tal Si Te Escapas del Cielo." This song was performed live during a panel discussion at Latin Music Week. This song is dedicated to their deceased cousin.

“This poem touches my soul,” Jafritza said in a statement about the song. “Many of us have experienced the loss of someone special, and sometimes we just want one last hug to tell us that everything is going to be okay. Make the most of every moment with them and always focus on giving them love and peace.”

Other new releases include Alejandro Sanz’s “Palmeras en El Jardín,” Alejandro Fernandez’s version of his father's ranch anthem “No Me Se Lajal,” and a collaboration with local Mexican star Karin León. There are songs such as “Ese vato no te keda”, in which Gabito Ballesteros teamed up. Departing from Musica Mexicana.
