The People’s Democrats (PDP) of Kaduna State Branch said the leadership crisis was not held responsible for the massive asylum that was spotted by the party last Saturday.
Naija News reported that the PDP lost most of its stakeholders last Saturday, including former All Progressives Congress (APC) Sen. Suleiman Hunkuyi and former Sen. Shehu Sani.
In an interview with News Central on Monday, Kaduna PDP propaganda secretary Maria Dogo said greed and political connections exiled exiles from the PDP.
She pointed out that unlike the APC, the party would not give them tickets in 2027.
Her words: “Some of our members have been exiled to the APC as they are no longer associated with their ward or constituency. Returning to the APC will give you a free ticket That’s exactly what’s happening in Kaduna.
“For example, in Jabba’s local government, a member representing Jabba in the Senate of Congress. He lost in the ward assembly and local government assembly. He suffered and was elected to the people of PDP when he returned for the second time. I knew it wouldn’t be.
“This is the only way to get to APC, because APC doesn’t want a primary and they pay only to those who want to give their position. So he’s now going to get that free ticket. I’m running to APC.
“And that of the Kaura Local Government, a member of the person in charge, came from the Labour Party, and he is currently in the APC.
“And when I see the other person, the second Amos Magazi, who walked through the window, he didn’t win the election, so I want to call it out of the window.
“He hasn’t given democratic dividends in his own constituency. He is running away two years later. He says that this is the only way he can run to APC and compete for other positions. I feel that it is the only way that can be done. So they are all greedy. They are all greedy.”
