Zoho, a global technology company, announced 31% growth in 2023 in Nigeria, one of its major markets in the African region.
Kehinde Ogundare, country head of Zoho Nigeria, who disclosed this on the sidelines of the company’s annual user conference, Zoholics Nigeria, held in Lagos yesterday, said the company had expanded its local workforce in Nigeria by 40% in the previous year. he added.
Ogundere also said the company offers over 55 apps in Naira to help local businesses avoid fluctuations in the dollar rate.
Zoho also announced a collaboration with Bridge International Academy to support the education of underprivileged children in Nigeria.
“As we continue to grow our presence in Africa, we are focused on ensuring our expansion has a positive impact on local economies, communities and the broader business ecosystem,” Ogundere said. Ta.

Zoho Country Head says the main purpose of its partnership with Bridge International Academy is to sponsor school uniforms, school fees for four terms, and other necessities needed by students attending Bridge International Academy. The goal is to support the education of 200 children in underserved communities, he said.
This initiative aims to address the financial constraints that prevent many students from getting the school supplies they need.
Zoho’s growth in Nigeria
Since its inception in 2020, Zoho has experienced continuous growth in the Nigerian market.
Over the past three years, Zoho has achieved a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 43% in Nigeria.
In 2023 alone, Zoho’s partner network grew by 21%.
Additionally, the company expanded its local workforce in Nigeria by 40% in the past year.
Zoho’s success in Nigeria stems from the extensive adaptation of its flagship products such as Zoho Workplace, Zoho Books, Zoho Desk, Zoho CRM, and Zoho One9.
“These products have played a key role in optimizing business operations, improving customer experience and increasing efficiency. It is driven by key sectors such as IT-related services, professional services (non-IT), utilities and resources, and retail,” Ogundere said.
