The video, directed by Brian Ziff, explores her life in the early 2000s, when she was in the paparazzi spotlight alongside stars like Britney Spears, and explores Hilton’s diagnosis of the disease in a colorful, neon-filled world. The video depicts him talking about his vulnerability. Despite the challenges of living with ADHD, she eventually found a way to use it as her superpower.
“Now look at me, I’m the best I can be/I was so depressed I thought I’d never be free/My superpower was right inside , see/It was ADHD,” she sings.
In early October, the reality TV star opened up about her ADHD diagnosis in a personal essay for Teen Vogue.
“At first, being diagnosed felt like a label, defining me by what kept me in, what I couldn’t do, and what made me different,” Paris wrote. “It’s something I’ve kept hidden for a long time because I was worried about what people would think. Will people think I’m too messy, too unfocused, or incapable of success? It’s just one side; the other side reveals something beautiful: creativity, passion, resilience, and a heart that thinks in bold and unexpected ways.”
