Initiatives to develop human resources in MENA
A major highlight of XP Music Futures is the HUNNA initiative, which focuses on supporting and mentoring women in music. The program creates an inclusive environment and supports the growth of female artists through partnerships with established mentors. HUNNA aims to empower up-and-coming female artists and set a new standard for regional inclusivity.
XPERFORM is a singing competition where area vocalists can showcase their talents. Winners will have the opportunity to collaborate with MDLBEAST Records, which will provide a platform for career growth. This competition emphasizes star power, charisma, and vocal skills to add fresh voices to the scene.
Meanwhile, Storm Shaker is giving up-and-coming DJs the chance to win a spot at Soundstorm, which runs from December 14th to 16th. The competition focuses on technical skills, mixing expertise and musicality, allowing aspiring DJs to make their mark.

Beyond performance, XP Music Futures focused on professional development through an artist management bootcamp in Saudi Arabia. This intensive program trains future managers in contracting, branding, and artist care, preparing them for success in the industry.
Sound Futures supports music entrepreneurs in technology and business. At the XP Music Futures 2024 Pitch Day, selected venture companies will present their ideas to potential investors and showcase their innovations.
Xchange is a series of workshops where music professionals explore opportunities to learn and collaborate. The sessions held in Kuwait and Tunisia earlier this year brought together industry leaders and sparked lively discussions.
