COHOES — Pam Tillis has no age.
The 67-year-old country music star still has the look that graced her in the pages of Glamor magazine, but what struck her was the other, younger-looking faces looking back from the audience.
“What’s strange and interesting about ’90s country now is the breadth of the audience,” she said in a recent Facebook Live interview. “We’ve been playing a few shows…and I looked out at the audience and said, ‘Wait a minute, you guys aren’t old enough to remember these songs.'”
“But it has multi-generational appeal, so that’s pretty cool.”
Two-time Grammy Award winner and former Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year Pam Tillis will perform at Cohoes Music on Sunday, October 20th as part of Kevin Richards’ 2024 “Close Up” series.・Stand on stage in the hall.

“I’ve been doing this for 33 years,” she said. “And I’m so glad you’re still with me. It means a lot. It keeps me going.”
Tillis shared her elementary beauty secret after receiving compliments from her online followers. She credits her makeup removal to “good genes,” but admits that a turn at Broadway’s Smokey Joe’s Cafe in 1999 sparked her addiction to false eyelashes.
“I’m an addict,” she said. “I’ve been wearing them for years and they seem to be really popular now. A lot of people are wearing them.”
