The new restoration, which premiered at Locarno this year, was made from a 35mm original copy of the negative, digitized by Paris-based post-production company Hiventy, and produced by Studiocanal in collaboration with the French Cinema National Center (CNC). Realized.

Rialto handles theatrical distribution in the U.S. and English-speaking Canada for Studiocanal’s entire catalog, which makes up the bulk of the company’s releases, but other big-name studios, among them American Zoetrope, TF1, TF1, and MK2.
