Ariana Grande “definitely” sees her and Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo working on original music together.
The 31-year-old pop star and the 37-year-old actress are set to record the music for the big-screen version of the two-part Broadway show in which they star as the witches Glinda and Elphaba, respectively. Ariana is eager to return to the studio in the future.
Speaking to Variety at the Academy Museum Gala held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Saturday (October 24, 2019), she said: I see what she’s working on and I take her there when I’m working.
“I think we’re going to be stuck with each other for the rest of our lives, both professionally and personally. So I would definitely say that.”
The “Thank U, Next” hitmaker also addressed the use of AI in fan editing for “Wicked,” saying that while it’s “fun” for fans, the technology can be “cumbersome.” I admitted that I have sex.
She said: “I think AI is very complex because I think it’s very contradictory and messy at times, but I think it’s kind of a very large adjustment period.
“This is much bigger than us, and our fans will enjoy editing it.”
Cynthia said one of the edits “degraded” her, and Ariana agreed that it could have gone “too far.”
She said: And I respect and love my sister Cynthia very much. It’s really a big adjustment period. It’s so exciting when it comes to something so much bigger than us. ”
In response to one of the posters, Cynthia was furious. “As much as the awful AI we’re fighting, and as much as people asking the question, ‘Is your ass green?’ this is the wildest, most aggressive thing I’ve ever seen.” It’s a thing.”
