Multi-platinum R&B star Tinashe has released the official music video for her latest single “No Broke Boys” from her latest album “Quantum Baby.” Produced by Ricky Reed, the song blended pop and R&B into an unapologetic empowerment anthem that quickly climbed the charts.
The video, directed by Aerin Moreno, features Tinashe and her dance team in a fierce battle on a high school football field. The sensual choreography emphasizes the message of self-worth and reminds women not to settle for less. Paying homage to her previous “Nasty” visual, the video ends with a surprising twist. Tinashe is arrested as a suspect after a series of crimes in the desert, and fans are waiting to see what happens next.
Tinashe premiered the video while on tour in Los Angeles, and approximately 6,000 fans were among the first to watch the cinematic project.
Earlier this year, Tinashe released her long-awaited album Quantum Baby, her seventh studio album and second in a trilogy following last year’s BB/ANG3L. The album’s hit single “Nasty” reached No. 1 on the rhythm radio charts and was streamed over 500 million times worldwide.
Tinashe is currently on her Match My Freak World Tour, which begins with a sold-out show in Anaheim, hits major cities in North America, and then heads overseas.
