Keeping up with new music can be exhausting and even impossible. From albums released weekly to standalone singles released daily, the amount of music is so vast that it’s easy for something to slip through the cracks. You can ask a lot just by following Uproxx’s recommendations every day, so every Monday we give you a rundown of the week's best new music.
This week, Rosé and Bruno Mars teamed up for pop perfection, while Bon Iver quickly dropped their first project. Yeah, it’s been a great week for new music. Check out the highlights below.

Rosé and Bruno Mars — “APT”
If Bruno Mars is involved in a song, there’s a good chance it’s a bop. The same goes for Blackpink’s Rosé, and naturally their new collaboration “APT.”, which appears on Rosé’s upcoming solo album Rosie, is instantly catchy and a lot of fun.
Bon Iver – “Awards Season”
SABLE isn’t a new album, but it’s a new Bon Iver, so it’s good enough. The four-song EP finds Vernon in vulnerable situations, with songs like ‘Awards Season’ featuring combined horns and his distinctive vocals to moving effect.
Juice WRLD — “Two-Way”
Juice WRLD passed away nearly five years ago, but it’s since been revealed that he left behind a huge amount of music in his vault. Juice has been releasing a steady stream of new music in recent years, and his posthumous album, The Party Never Ends, is scheduled for release in November. An extended version of Juice’s The Pre-Party has also just arrived, featuring the fan favorite “Both Ways,” formerly known as “Aye.”
Japan Droid — “Eye Contact High”
“Fate & Alcohol” has been released and Japandroids has officially ended. Uproxx’s Steven Hyden said of the album: “The major flaw in Japandroid’s construction as a creative vehicle is that it was designed to do one thing: create Celebration Rock, and it has never matured or evolved beyond that. But they push forward anyway on this record, and even if they don’t always (or often) succeed, the bravado and romanticism are still there, this time. It’s overshadowed by the fragility of a recovering addict. “You’re not dead, you’re just dehydrated,” King sings in “Alice,” but his fist actually makes a fist. You can feel it being gripped by pure white. ”
Charli XCX – “Spring Breakers Featuring Kesha”
At this point, the Brat era may last forever. After releasing her remix album Brat And It’s Completely Different But Another Still Brat, Charli XCX isn’t done yet and will soon release another new remix, featuring Kesha in a new version of “Spring Breakers.” Recruited.
FKA Twigs – “Perfect Stranger”
Twigs is set to kick off 2025 with the release of her latest album, Eusexua. The title certainly indicates that sexuality is a core element of the situation, and Twigs’ provocative video “Perfect Stranger” does nothing to dispel that theory.
Absoul — “All That” feat. Jason Martin and Thirsty P
New Ab-Soul alert: Top Dawg rapper drops new mixtape Soul Burger. The song is expected to be released in November, but before that he teamed up with Jason Martin and Thirsty P for “All That,” which Uproxx’s Aaron Williams called “a rumbling beat and a head-turning song.” It features some dizzying LA slang.”
Ari Lennox – “Smoke”
Lennox may be saying goodbye to social media, but that doesn’t mean the music will stop. She released her fun doo-wop-inspired single “Smoke” last week, along with a fun video to match.
Mk.gee — “Rockman”
Mk.gee had just dropped Two Star & the Dream Police, but they still had “Rockman” left in the tank. In case you Nintendo fanatics are wondering, this song is about the Rockman Amplifier, not the Japanese name of the Rockman video game.
Gunna – “He’s always been him”
Since accepting a plea deal in the YSL Rico case, Gunna has become a bad name for some people, but that hasn’t stopped the music from flowing. On last week’s “Him All Along,” the rapper did enough to push himself and reaffirm that he’s a big deal.
