The Spokane Symphony Orchestra will be ringing in the Halloween season, offering a comprehensive Harry Potter experience.
The famous Spokane Symphony Orchestra will once again bring back the magic of the Harry Potter movies just in time for the holiday season, along with many other Halloween classics.
Sheila Samuels-Schrag, former associate conductor of the Spokane Symphony Orchestra and current associate conductor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, has performed music such as John Williams’ “Hedwig’s Theme” and “Dobby the House Elf,” as well as Patrick Doyle’s He will conduct some of his favorite songs, including “Goblet.” fire. “Other spooky hits include James Newton Howard’s “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” John Powell’s “How to Train Your Dragon,” and Camille Saint-Saens’ “Dans Macabre.”
The Spokane Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Meg Stallman, will join the orchestra to perform two Harry Potter movie songs, “Double Trouble” and “My Love Is Always Here.”
The lobby of the Fox Theater has a Diagon Alley vibe, with plenty of stalls before and after the show. Vendors will include snacks, crafts, wands, jewelry, gnomes, themed photo booths perfect for showing off your robes (which wizards are encouraged to wear), and more.
The symphony orchestra will host “Harry Potter and Other Halloween Favorite Music” on Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets start at $28 and are available at foxtheaterspokane.org.
