The Ondo State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Agboola Ajayi, has said he is the most qualified for the governorship position.
Agboola Ajayi said his aim was to transform the economy of Ondo State through a comprehensive strategy. He pointed out that the state currently relies heavily on civil servants to operate.
The former Deputy Governor of Ondo stated this in a statement on his X-handle on Sunday.
He criticized the security situation in the state during Sunday’s gubernatorial debate, saying foreign investors would not come to the state because of the current security challenges.
Mr. Ajayi promised to build a vibrant commercial hub that will attract domestic and foreign investment.
“I am confident that I am the most qualified candidate to be the next Governor of Ondo State. My vision for the state includes implementing a comprehensive strategy to diversify the economy and reduce dependence on the civil service. will appear.
“I aim to create a vibrant commercial hub that attracts local and foreign investments and fosters an environment where businesses can thrive and create employment opportunities for the people of Ondo State.
“My goal is to ensure sustainable growth and development of the state and I will continue to work tirelessly to achieve this vision,” Ajayi said.
