The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Nicholas Felix, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting his readiness and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress.
After meeting with the President at the Ikoyi Presidential Palace in Lagos on Monday, Mr. Felix expressed his admiration for Mr. Tinubu’s leadership qualities.
“Dr. Ruben Abati’s claim that the President has settled into his job is actually an understatement.
“This isn’t just about a leader staying in place. This is someone who comes in fully prepared and knows exactly what he’s doing,” Felix said.
The conversation between Felix and Tinubu centered on strategies to promote Nigeria’s development and address pressing national challenges.
Felix commended the administration’s reforms, particularly the establishment of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Technology and Innovation Complex (BATTIC), which he said confirms the President’s commitment to a technology-driven future.
He also commended Mr. Tinubu’s commitment to inclusivity, evident in the significant representation of youth and women within his government.
“I thanked the President for fulfilling his campaign promise to empower youth and women in his administration.
“It is unprecedented to have such strong representation at the federal level. This shows his commitment to building inclusive and diverse leadership,” he said.
Mr. Felix, who contested against Mr. Tinubu in the APC presidential primaries for the 2023 election, further emphasized his confidence in Mr. Tinubu’s abilities, citing discussions between the two on key policies.
“I had the opportunity to discuss important policies with him and was struck by his insight and clear understanding of the issues.Nigerians did not elect novices.
“We have leaders who are not only qualified but also fully capable to lead the country in the right direction. I must say, we are in a very secure position. ” Felix said.
