The world is said to be about to witness the most consequential US presidential election since witnessing the last most consequential US presidential election.
Since the so-called “pile” has a well-known ring, the dipole also has a well-known ring.
Anyone with any understanding of American history knows that presidential elections have always been cast as a binary choice between past and future, prosperity and decline, peace and war, and more recently, democracy and authoritarianism. I know what I’ve been through.
The myth surrounding this “choice” is that American voters have a choice in the first place. The two dominant political parties, apart from lip service, are ideological rivals when it comes to urgent issues such as war and peace, but deep down they remain steadfast soulmates. is.
The billionaire oligarchs who run America’s entire decrepit show are a sweet illusion to convince gullible people that “democracy” is different from party 1a. I know something.
That’s the stubborn conundrum facing Arab American and Muslim American voters. Leaders of Part I and Part IA have promoted and defended open genocide in Gaza and the occupied West Bank on the defining issues of this terrible era.
So who should you choose, or should you choose at all?
Remember, there is no “light of day” on this vile and abominable score of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
Both have played willing and enthusiastic handmaidens to the indicted darling of the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Both are states that have killed more than 43,000 people (and counting), mostly Palestinian children and women, through carpet bombings, deliberate starvation, denial of medical care, the spread of disease, and forced marches. It has supported all the disgusting measures against the atrocities of the initiative. , and again and again.
Both, of course, refuse to use the short, sharp word “genocide” to describe the crimes committed by apartheid states in Gaza and the West Bank, not as a rhetorical cudgel but as a matter of international law.
Both believe beyond doubt that Israel has an absolute “right of self-defense,” despite the continuing “extermination” of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
And when our fellow citizens took to the streets and college campuses to demand an end to mass murder and apocalyptic destruction, Democrats and Republicans labeled these enlightened Americans as “terrorist” sympathizers. He praised the rigorous efforts of powerful and entrenched interests to silence “terrorists.” Protesters were removed through violence, intimidation, and intimidation.
But as Election Day approaches, vacillating Democrats and their allies within the “progressive” wing of the mainstream media ecosystem are becoming increasingly nervous.
Their obvious anxiety is exaggerated in haunting cable TV shows and haunting online columns aimed at reassuring each other that everything will be fine.
Sadly, a series of national and state polls, if accurate, reveal that the race for the White House is deadlocked. In some “battleground states,” where the Arab and Muslim populations are likely to be the largest, President Trump appears to be ahead of the curve.
The prospect that America may soon elect a fascist as commander-in-chief has registered Kamala Harris as a pliant ally of the Democratic Party establishment and other establishments.
Oh, heavens, what shall we do?
“Outreach”. Yes, it’s “outreach.”
“Outreach” means that Democratic presidential candidates can suddenly placate Arab and Muslim voters, grieving communities that Harris and others have long ignored, with pointless bromides. It’s a euphemism for what you’re thinking.
“We are working day and night to arrange a ceasefire in Gaza,” Harris repeated like a wind-up metronome.
Indeed, it is. The sordid “facts on the ground” confirm that your peace pleas are empty and cynical pantomimes.
When “outreach” doesn’t work, Harris and the “progressive” deplorables are effectively resorting to intimidation.
They say that if Arab and Muslim Americans cast a “protest vote” against top Democratic candidates, they would be responsible for electing an anti-Muslim dictator.
Other than being an outrageous insult, intimidation is rarely a persuasive strategy.
This is my advice to Arab-American and Muslim-American voters in key bellwether states like Michigan. Don’t listen to the crazy politicians and journalists who, in alignment with the leaders of the 1st and 1A parties, have given Israel indisputable permission to kill many people. Palestinians can do whatever they want, for as long as they want, and for whatever reason they want.
We urge you to remain dedicated in spirit and in spirit to your dedicated cause.
Do not be deterred from remaining true to your conscience by the appeals of charlatans who believe that Palestinian lives are cheap and disposable.
Do not reward charlatans who believe that Palestinian lives are cheap and disposable by listening to their plausible advice and choosing between Dishonest Leader 1 and Dishonest Leader 1a Please.
Don’t be swayed by the predictable apologists who claim that electing Trump will only make things “worse” for Arab and Muslim Americans.
For generations, Muslims and Arab Americans have been seen as a fifth columnist, an existential threat to America. you can’t be trusted. You remain an “outsider”.
Therefore, you have been treated with contempt. You were jailed or blacklisted for speaking out. Your loyalty is being questioned. You have been taken for granted on a daily basis.
You are expected to act. You must remain invisible and silent.
Do not impose obligations on charlatans. Instead, exercise your agency by depriving Leader 1 and Leader 1a of what they value most: status and power.
Again, stay uncommitted to a movement you don’t have commitment to. Civility and history demand that we cry together, “Enough is enough.”
It’s the right thing to do and it’s the right thing to do. Choosing Leader 1 or Leader 1a means voting for a co-author of the genocide that turned Gaza to dust and memory, whether you are ready to admit it or not.
You are not responsible if Trump wins.
That would be the sole responsibility of millions of intolerant Americans who, in a long and vile American tradition, consider cruelty and ignorance to be the guiding principles of governing.
No matter how hard it was, you survived four years of Donald Trump’s administration. If you want, you can survive him again.
If this damn election campaign has proven anything, it’s that America is not a shining city on a hill. It’s a fiction that disintegrates in the gutter.
Let’s take a long view. A tangible expression of self-respect and loyalty to the dire plight of our Palestinian brothers and sisters, if Arab Americans and Muslim Americans will finally have the eyes and ears of Leaders 1 and 1a. As such, I must now take a position of honor.
