Billboard Latin Music Week 2024 is in full swing in Miami, with the 35th annual week-long event taking place October 14-18.
The star-studded event opened Monday (October 14) at the Fillmore Miami Beach’s Jackie Gleason Theater and featured many Latin stars including Eden Muñoz, Fayed, Kenya Os, Katin, and more. and industry leaders on the panel.
This year, stars such as J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Eslavon Armado, Pepe Aguilar, Gloria Estefan, Thalía, Alejandro Sanz, Grupo Frontera, and Young Miko will take to the stage and speak during panels and Q&As. The complete schedule can be found here.
Over the past 35 years, Latin Music Week has become the only steady foundation for Latin music in this country, and the single most important and largest gathering of Latin artists and industry executives from around the world. Originally named the Billboard-sponsored Latin Music Seminar, the event dates back to 1990 and began as a one-day event in Miami featuring a showcase of two artists and an awards ceremony.
Over the years, it has been held in Miami, Las Vegas, and Puerto Rico, returning to Miami Beach for the fourth year in a row in 2024 and hosting big Latin artists such as Celia Cruz, Selena, Ricky Martin, Chayan, and Jenny. Rivera, Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Bad Bunny, Romeo Santos. Latin Music Week will coincide with the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will air on Telemundo on Sunday, October 20th at 9pm ET. The service will be available simultaneously on the Universo, Peacock and Telemundo apps, and in Latin America and the Caribbean through Telemundo Internacional.
