CLARKSDALE, Mississippi — Coahoma Community College is pleased to announce the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Choral Music Festival, an evening dedicated to celebrating the tradition and excellence of HBCU choral music. This event will be held at CCC Pinnacle on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
The festival features moving performances by the region’s most renowned HBCU choirs, bringing together a diverse blend of voices and musical styles spanning classical, gospel, and contemporary genres. Participating institutions are as follows.

Dr. Kelvin Towners, Coahoma Community College’s Director of Fine Arts and Director of Choral Activities, expressed his excitement for the event.
