Brantley Gilbert won’t soon forget 2024.
Gilbert helped save one of his best friends, country music star Colt Ford, after he suffered a severe heart attack in April, and on Friday night, Gilbert was on stage during a show to get on his tour bus and help. I got off the train. Give birth to a newborn son.

According to Taste of Country, Gilbert was performing in Tupelo, Mississippi on Friday night and was in his fourth song of the show when he left the stage for about an hour to help his wife with the birth of their third child. That’s what it means.
In a video posted by a fan who attended the show, Gilbert can be seen returning to the microphone, with emotion evident in his voice as he says, “Mississippi’s baby was born.”
Afterward, he was hugged and clapped by band members as the audience cheered.
Then he let the show roll out again.
Gilbert shared a video on Instagram that gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what happened.
“So last night might have been the craziest night of my life,” he wrote in the caption alongside the video. “Seeing such amazing women do such amazing things is something I will never forget. To our Lord family for rallying around us and bringing this little man into the world. Thank you Brittany Thornton for helping us, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us your love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me how much you believe in women. Are you so strong that you can’t help me? I love you.
