Nigerian DJ Big N has told how he survived a horrific robbery in Johannesburg, South Africa. In an Instagram post, he said he was attacked by six armed men while driving on Sunday, January 12, and the robbers, armed with a large gun, shot him in the leg and robbed him of more than $114,000 worth of watches and jewelry. He explained that it had been stolen.
Despite his injuries, DJ Big N managed to drive himself to the hospital. Doctors said it was a miracle he survived because the bullet narrowly missed a major artery and bone.
DJ Big N said the experience changed his outlook on life. “I learned that material things are not important. Life is fragile and there is no point in seeking approval from others,” he wrote. He credits God and his mother’s prayers for his survival. He promised to focus on living a simple and stress-free life.
DJ Big N also shared a photo of himself walking on crutches at the hospital. He called the incident both terrifying and life-changing, saying it made him realize what was really important. “God gave me another chance,” he said, adding that he is grateful and values life even more now.
