Kora Orogadiyan, a national propaganda secretary for the past National Democrats (PDP), predicts that all Progressive Congresses (APCs) will burst after his exile from the control of Kaduna Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufai.
Naija News recalls that on Monday, March 10, 2025, El Rufai dumped the APC for the Social Democrats (SDP) after recent criticism of the party and President Bora Tinubu’s administration.
In a statement announcing his resignation from the APC, Kaduna’s former governor said the party had deviated from its core values and treated its membership with light empty.
Part of his statement reads, “There is no desire for some of the people who currently control and operate the APC to control the APC and acknowledge the unhealthy situation in the party.”
In an interview with Arise Television’s “The Morning Show,” in response to El-Rufai’s exile, Ologbodiyan confirmed the former governor as the APC founding machine and his resignation sparked a crisis for the party.
He states: El-Rufai is the founder of All Progressives Congress, and you can imagine what will last if the founder can leave the party. ”
Speaking about the PDP’s struggle to resolve the prolonged crisis, Ologbodeyan urged the media to encourage the opposition, adding that a culture of silence should not be encouraged.
He added, “There is no democracy without the opposition, so let’s find a way to burn the opposition."
