The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Mr Dele Momodu, has claimed that Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike and his group are working for the President Bola Tinubu government.
Naija News recalls that Wike vowed to remain with the PDP despite serving as a minister in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Mr Dele Modu claimed that Mr Wike and his group were behind the PDP crisis.
The veteran journalist said Mr Wike’s group wants Mr Tinubu to withdraw from the 2027 presidential race, after which the former Rivers governor can use the PDP to run for president.
He also said that everyone knows about the mission of the group, adding that APC members are aware that Wike’s group is playing games.
He said, “The truth remains constant and they have never hidden their mission in the ongoing struggle within the PDP. , previously said she would be working for him in 2027.
“And they will stay in the PDP, they will not leave the party, they will continue to oppress the party. Everyone knows. Even APC members know that they are playing games.
“They hope that somewhere along the way Tinubu will be out of service in 2027 and after that they will suppress the PDP and use it, knowing that APC will not provide them with a platform. Because there is.”
