The Human Rights Writers Association (HURIWA) has accused President Bola Tinubu of using Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike to destabilize the rebels.
The association stated this while reacting to the exemption of FCT from the Treasury Single Account (TSA).

HURIWA, through a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko, claims that the removal of the FCT Ministry from the TSA is an arbitrary move to position Nyesom Wike as a powerful force within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). did.
The group noted that Wike continues to exert influence over the internal affairs of the PDP despite being in power under the All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
Naija News reports that Mr. Wike has announced on numerous occasions that the FCT administration is not under the jurisdiction of the TSA and has boasted that Mr. Tinubu has provided him with everything he needs to succeed as a minister. It is said that
“The arbitrary removal of the FCT Ministry from the TSA sets a dangerous precedent that threatens fiscal responsibility and strengthens suspicions that the APC is using key figures in the PDP like Wike to thwart the opposition.” said Mr. HURIWA.
The group said: “This strategy aims to ensure that the PDP remains divided and weakened, thereby making it easier for the APC to consolidate its grip on political power and move towards establishing a one-party state. “I guess so,” he emphasized.
