On October 26th at the Fallbrook Masonic Lodge, 203 Rocky Crest Road, Triple Treat Entertainment’s banner and a thrilling concert and fundraising event featuring an exceptionally talented ensemble.
The spotlight will be on three dynamic dance bands, each comprised of incredible costumed musicians, for a truly unforgettable experience.
In addition to great music, there will be a full bar, catered food, raffle prizes, a silent auction, and nostalgic candy sales. The three nonprofit organizations that will benefit from this event are the Fallbrook Historical Society, Mentoring for Purpose, and the Masonic Cemetery, which is donating burial plots to the silent auction.
The cost is just a $10 donation and there will be an opportunity to purchase food, drinks and nostalgic candy inside the store.
Heading up the music department is Jack Kovic, a longtime Fallbrook resident with deep roots in the local music scene. Recently retired from his business, Jack’s Music, located above Harry’s Pub, he has been a pillar of the community, imparting musical wisdom to countless students over the years.
Interestingly, Kovic is the younger brother of Ron Kovic, author of the best-selling memoir and Oscar-winning film Independence Day.
Looking back on his early days, Jack Kovic said: Brian Setzer charged me $5 per lesson to learn how to lick his guitar. We both studied jazz guitar under the famous Ray Gogarty, who encouraged me to read up on saxophone solos to improve my chops. ”
With a decade in the Navy and a career as a stockbroker at Washington Mutual, Kovic’s diverse background enriches his musical contributions.
Joining him on stage will be the extremely talented Kenny Marquez, who made his career soar with the band Renegade. With his multi-million selling album Rock ‘n’ Roll Crazy still available on Amazon, Marquez’s music resonates with fans around the world.
Along with his wife Tara B., the couple performs as an acoustic duo known as The Spell, captivating audiences throughout Southern California. Tara B is also a well-known artist, making waves with her original music on her album “Supused To Be,” available on all major streaming platforms.
Marquez and Tara B’s collaboration received acclaim and opened for legends such as LA Guns and the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Currently recording with Voyage Entertainment Records, two new singles, “Smoldered Out” and “Everything I Own” have topped the charts in six countries. “I can’t wait to bring the energy to the Halloween celebration,” Marquez said with obvious excitement. “It’s going to be a night to remember!”
Supporting the rhythm section is drummer Jolene Smith. Her infectious energy and precision have made her a beloved figure in the Southern California music community. Raised in Chicago, Smith was immersed in the world of music at an early age thanks to his musician parents.
Her passion for music education shines through as co-founder and musical director of Las Palmas Percussionists, a San Clemente-based children’s performance group. Her experience spans numerous bands throughout Southern California, and her driving beats are sure to captivate audiences.
This Halloween concert promises to be an emotional night filled with captivating music, great performances, and a charming atmosphere. Attendees will dress in their best costumes and dance the night away, with proceeds from the event also contributing to a worthy cause by supporting local initiatives and community projects.
