Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest names in professional wrestling. He is also known for his epic stories from his illustrious career. But his latest claims raise more questions than answers, and include separate advances from two of pop music’s biggest stars.
During an appearance on the PBD podcast, Hogan claimed that at the height of his fame, he rejected advances from Cher in the 1980s and Madonna in the 1990s.
Hogan claimed about singer Cher:
“My real interest in celebrities was one day I was sitting in the Twin Towers with my wife at Vince[McMahon’s]birthday party, and this cop came up to me and said, and I said, “Yes?” So now I’m sitting with my wife, right? And the guy said, “Oh, Cher sent me a limousine. It’s downstairs.” She wants you to come to her house and have dinner with her. ”
“I’m like, ‘Cher? What are you talking about?'” And he goes, “No, Cher, I’m a singer!” I didn’t know what to make of that and said, “Get out of here. What are you talking about?” But it was kind of weird. I mean, she just thought she could send a car and I’d jump in there and go run there. No, no, brother, I wasn’t, because I was with my wife. Please do so anyway. ”
In 1992, Hogan claimed that pop singer Madonna asked him to date her after the release of her book while she was in New York.

“Then there was a time when Madonna published that SM&M book, but I can’t remember what it was called. She had a party in New York City and I was in the Garden that night. She He sent a car to pick me up to come to the party. Again, I was with my wife, so I didn’t do anything like that. But, yeah, I was caught off guard by stuff like that. That’s when you realize that the character has entered the world.”
As of this writing, neither Cher nor Madonna have publicly responded to Hogan’s claims, but if or when they do, The Takedown on SI will provide an update.
