Greek melodic metal band InnerWish has released their new single and video “Highter”. The song will be included on the band’s new album Ash Of Eternal Flame, which will be released on November 8th via RPM (Reigning Phoenix Music).
The message read: “This is one of our favorite songs on the album! And (to be honest) we were worried it wouldn’t be on the album because it’s so different from the other songs. But… With great mixing by Henrik Wood, the song’s lyrical story is about a father talking to his first-born child (here his son, specifically singer George), his thoughts, his anxieties about the world. His will to always be there for his children even after he leaves.
Pre-order Ash Of Eternal Flame physically (CD digipak or color vinyl), pre-save to your favorite digital service provider (DSP), or pre-order digitally to receive “Sea Of Lies” feat. You can. Hansi Kürsch will be here soon.
Ash Of Eternal Flame features two different cover designs by Giannis Nakos of Remedy Art Design (known for his work on Amaranthe, Kamelot, Arion, etc.). The blue version is used for both CD and digital formats, while the red version is reserved for vinyl editions. The album contains 12 tracks (including bonus cover versions in physical format) and was recorded at LoNe and Devasoundz studios in Athens, Greece, under the guidance of producer Fotis Benardo. Mixing and mastering was handled by Henrik Udd, an award-winning engineer who has worked with artists such as Hammerfall, Powerwolf, and Seticflesh.
With lyrical themes ranging from social and global issues to personal struggles, mythology, and even fantasy, InnerWish is ready to shine brighter than ever on Ash Of Eternal Flame. Musically, this album solidifies their legacy as a formidable force in the melodic metal scene.
