Shreveport’s super festival, Prize Fest, is back.
Prize Fest is a creative competition and festival held in the heart of downtown Shreveport that annually attracts festival-goers from around the world with featured films, food, music, and comedy.
The festival is hosted by The Prize Foundation, a nonprofit organization that inspires and uplifts creators in our communities and beyond through creative competitions in filmmaking, culinary arts, entrepreneurship, music, and design.
The Awards Foundation was established 13 years ago when the award-winning film awards were launched.
Since 2012, the Awards Foundation has encouraged and encouraged filmmakers to choose Shreveport and northwest Louisiana as the place to make their films and test new ideas. This resulted in the production of over 1,000 short films featuring the work of thousands of creative entrepreneurs and an economic impact of over $25 million.
The third night will feature the Music Awards and Prize Fest Friday Night Party.
The Music Prize begins at 6pm at the Prize Garage and will feature five acts on Friday night and five acts on Saturday night. These musicians are fighting to win $10,000.
