Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has said that President Bola Tinubu’s body language has made the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, unleash fear and insecurity in Rivers State. He claimed to be supporting.
Mr. Eze stated this while reacting to the judgment of the Federal High Court in Abuja that restrained the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from disbursing the monthly federal allocation to Rivers State.
He lamented that the ruling was a waste of time, adding that the Tinubu administration had not resolved the issue.
The APC chief maintained that Mr. Wike showed his hatred for Rivers State by allowing him to be used to undermine the progress of Rivers State.
“The judge erred in refusing to consider the mere fact that she defected to those who purported to be legitimate state legislators,” Eze said in a statement. I can say this unequivocally,” he said. Lawmakers should not have used the PDP when it was not divided as a means to pass such a wicked judgment which is only a means to create unprecedented chaos in Rivers State.
“It is sad and unfortunate that this is the first time such strict orders have been imposed on any state in Nigeria.
“Honestly, this judgment has further proved to some astute Nigerians that the President Bola Tinubu administration is not actually solving the problem as far as the crisis in Rivers State is concerned.
“The President’s body language and suspicious silence indicate a degree of support for the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Barr, rather than taking on the role of a father and politician. Nyesom Wike, Rivers State unleashes fear and instability.
“That Wike has sold himself to undermine the development of Rivers State simply shows his hatred for the state. This level of evil against a state that has contributed so much to the development of this country. Those who praise him should reconsider, because we don’t know what will happen next.
“Rivers State occupies a very sensitive position in Nigeria’s geopolitics and any attempt to destabilize it will derail Nigeria’s democratic governance.
“Of all the states in Nigeria, Rivers State, the source of Nigeria’s revenue, is targeted for destruction because of the greed and sycophancy of one man.
“The denial of allocation to Rivers State residents shows that there is no end in sight to the crisis rocking the state with Wike’s fight to wrest the political structure of the PDP and APC from Governor Hubala.
“This is an interesting moment as people weigh the power of precedent and wonder how the judiciary will navigate this delicate area.
“As citizens, it is important to stay informed and ensure justice is consistent.
“While the state intends to call out this brazen rape and insult to its people, I appeal to everyone to remain calm and not play into the hands of those who are trying to declare a state of emergency in Rivers State.”
“The Tinubu administration continues to attract accusations and negative criticism for allowing ministers in its own administration to mastermind the political crisis in their state.”
