Commander Abdulmajid Dan Bilki, chief of All Progressives Congress (APC), Kano State, expressed his regret over President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s campaign in the 2023 general election.
Naija News reports that in an interview with the Daily Trust, the commander emphasized that throughout his life he never regretted the way he regretted the Tinubu campaign.
According to him, based on performance indicators available to all Nigerians, the APC government led by President Tinubu failed many Nigerians who voted for him in 2023.
The commander also said, as representative of the masses, that he must ask for their forgiveness as the APC government has not kept its promise.
He said, “It hurts me, but it’s true and let me tell you the truth. I’m an active member of the APC, but that the Nigerian government under the APC failed Nigerians. And as an individual who dedicated his time and resources to people vote for the party, I would like to state here that I regret acting.
“Nigerians are hungry and angry. Their security was not guaranteed and governance was biased, so they couldn’t afford two square meals a day.”
