JENNIE’s “Mantra” came out on top in this week's new song poll.
Music fans voted in a poll released Friday (October 11) on Billboard to choose the BLACKPINK singer’s new solo single as their favorite new music release of the past week.
Despite competing with several high-profile new releases, JENNIE’s song won the vote by a landslide, garnering over 81% as of Sunday’s voting close. This week, voters chose “Mantra” over new music releases from Charli XCX, Halsey, Tyla, Jelly Roll, Becky G, GloRilla and Rod Wave.
BLACKPINK fans got a new pop anthem with JENNIE’s “Mantra.” This is the singer’s first release since signing as a solo artist with Columbia Records in partnership with label ODDATELIER in September.
With a confident hook and beat, this song is sure to get you pumped up as you prepare for a night of dancing. Among the new releases trailing “Mantra” in this week’s vote is Charli XCX’s “Brat,” a very different but still Brat album that received 7% of the vote and Halsey’s The song “I Never Loved You” received 4% of the votes. .
