The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi State has appointed Alhaji Sani Dododo as the new Publicity Secretary for the state.
The appointment was contained in a statement by the state secretary of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Bawakargo, addressed to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.
He said: “Following the voluntary resignation of the PDP spokesperson in Kebbi City, Alhaji Garba Liman Buma, the National Executive Committee of the party has approved the appointment of Alhaji Sani Dododo as his successor.” .
Mr Bawakargo conveyed that the outgoing Publicity Secretary appreciated the cooperation given to the State Council during his tenure as PRO of the party.
“He also called on party members to extend similar cooperation to Dododo.
“During Monday’s meeting, Mr. Dododo thanked the party leadership for deeming him worthy of the responsibility and pledged to carry out his duties with utmost objectivity and in line with the party’s manifesto.” said.
Mr Bawakargo praised the outgoing public relations secretary for his great contribution to the party.
“PDP urges the new Public Relations Secretary to emulate the virtues and team spirit of the former Public Relations Secretary, Liman Buma,” he urged.
