From sold-out tours to critically acclaimed projects, Ken Carson’s meteoric rise in hip-hop is undeniable. The 24-year-old recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of his hit album A Great Chaos by embarking on a sold-out North American tour that wraps up in just over a month. Following the release of “A Great Chaos (Deluxe)” in July, Carson is back with a music video for his hit single “overseas.”
Appropriately starting with an epilepsy warning, the video features gritty visuals and tracks documenting his travels around the world, including clips from London, Paris and Amsterdam, the three cities Carson mentions in the track. The powerful tempo matches perfectly. Rap’s favorite portrait photographer Gunner Stahl played a key role in bringing the video to life and served as the official director, along with now-defunct Brockhampton members Henok Silesi and Nick Holliday served as the editor of the cut.
Check out the chaotic music video above, and stay tuned for updates on Carson’s rumored upcoming album, More Chaos. The release date is tentatively set for Halloween (October 31st), but we will continue to pay attention to Carson.
