“The Voice” finalist Karen Waldrup, Bag of Donuts, Christian Serpas & Ghost Town will be performing live entertainment at Festival of the Lake in Mandeville Nov. 1-3 will be the headliner, organizers announced Friday.
The 41st annual festival is held at Our Lady of the Lake Church and School, 312 Lafitte Street in Mandeville, and is free and open to the public.
For the past 40 years, the festival has brought live music, Southern cuisine, and family-friendly entertainment to residents of Southeast Louisiana. Food items sold include gumbo, barbecue brisket, fried chicken on a stick, pizza, funnel cakes, Bananas Foster, frozen daiquiris, and more.
Kids and families will enjoy fire truck rides, face painting, arts and crafts, a magic show, music from Northlake Academy of Music, and more.
Saturday afternoon bingo will offer festival goers the chance to win $5,000 in jackpot games.
In benefit of Our Lady of the Lake Church, a free Lake Festival organized by Abadi Engineering will be held at the school and church grounds.
