Myles Kennedy appeared on SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk” on October 16th and spoke about the status of songwriting sessions for the upcoming SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS album. He said (transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “This process technically started earlier this year when we were on tour. We worked on some ideas while we were doing soundchecks etc. And at this point,[other members]are down.” There’s basically a demo there, and then you basically get updates as things go. That allows me to work on things like melodies and lyrics. I’m getting ready to leave for a (solo) tour in Europe next week and I’m looking for some time to actually track down my vocals. But yeah, they’re in the middle of it right now, and so am I. I really like what I’m hearing. ”
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are set to enter the studio in November to begin recording their fifth album, tentatively scheduled for release in 2025.
In May of this year, Slash told SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk” that CONSPIRATORS would be entering the studio “in the fall.” And I’ll be back (on tour) with Guns next year. Then we’ll decide exactly when to release the CONSPIRATORS record. Because we have ALTER BRIDGE, we’re doing everything else,” he said, referring to the fact that SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS singer Myles Kennedy is also a member of ALTER BRIDGE.
Slash Featuring Miles Kennedy & The Conspirators will perform ‘The River Is Rising – Rest of the World Tour’ with their return to Mexico City’s Pepsi Center WTC on January 23rd 24” was started. The group’s 24-song set list included the live debut of GUNS N’ ROSES’ deep song “Don’t Damn Me,” which featured Kearns on lead vocals.
SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS received support from Mammoth WVH on various dates on their “The River Is Rising – Rest Of The World Tour ’24”.
Prior to the start of “The River Is Rising – Rest Of The World Tour ’24,” SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS last performed in February and March 2022 as part of a U.S. tour.
SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS’ latest album “4” was released in February 2022 by Gibson Records in partnership with BMG.
4 is Slash’s fifth solo album and fourth overall with his band, which also features Kennedy, Fitz, Kearns, and Sidoris.
SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS have released their first-ever double live LP, Live At Studios 60, for Record Store Day 2022. In addition to the “4” performance, this production included four additional songs from the group. Recorded live at Studio 60 in Los Angeles, the 2LP Exclusive Record Store Day release of "Live at Studio 60″ was limited to just 2,250 copies. It was a full concert in which all songs from “4” were performed. Additional performances of the group’s top five rock radio hits, including “You’re A Lie,” “World On Fire,” “Anastasia” and “Driving Rain,” are also included on the two-disc vinyl package.
For “4,” Slash and the band traveled across the country together to Nashville, Tennessee, where they worked with producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, John Prine, Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile) at the historic RCA Studio A. recorded a new album. All new sounds and styles were recorded live in the studio. Cobb shared the band’s desire to record the track live in the studio, including guitar solos and vocals, a first for the band.
Slash released a blues album called Orgy Of The Damned on Gibson Records in May.
This summer, Slash is bringing his brand new “SERPENT” festival to cities across the United States. On all dates, Slash performed with a blues band featuring bassist Johnny Griparik, keyboardist Teddy “Zigzag” Andreadis, drummer Michael Jerome, and singer/guitarist Tash Neal.
